Me too. It's amazing how well that seems to fill up that empty space. Very pretty.

Out of all of them the fifth one is the strongest. There's lots of different motion in the shot and the wider angle really allows the viewer to see both the movement and the environment!

I was spinning in this underpass in the middle of an active street in my town around 4 AM (Way past curfew for me) and I was in my last few spins and a cop comes around the corner. He asked what I was doing, I showed him a picture and then after talking a few minutes he told me don't do it anymore tonight and get home, If you're out again before curfew you won't be driving yourself home.. SO I was mostly getting in trouble for curfew but he mentioned that some of the cops would have found it a bigger problem as a terrorist since I'm under a railroad track and this and that... I was more thinking about getting to my next spot...

These are awesome. I want to try this in a few nearby drains. How long do you set your exposure for usually?

Great pictures! Number 4 is my favorite, love how it creates a box around the one doing the spinning.

Deep red tones on the first shot definitely give it a gates of hell sort of feel. Great work overall.

The fourth one in the tight drain is fantastic! Really catches your eye.

The last one probably has the most room for improvement; there is no clear subject or focus. There's a street, which I see has some wonderful car trails, there's the city in the back, then there's you on the right.

The foreground has this big road space in it, but it doesn't do much for the photo - it merely pushes all of the interesting stuff to the top of the frame. If you were closer to the camera, were it higher up in the air, closer to the edge of the bridge, etc., you could achieve a more dynamic and eye-catching frame.

Keep up the good work!

I'm not really into steel wool these day, but as far as advice, I'd say try and keep your spinning hand in the exact same spot and spin as fast as you can. This will give you a nice tight circle and spinning it fast will give you cool bounce effects when the sparks hit a nearby wall.

here's one I did a couple years back that might describe what I'm trying to explain:

I would also suggest lighting up the rest of the scene a bit more especially on [2] and [6]. Of course this is just my own opinion.
