About 20 minutes from my house is this abandoned farmhouse in rural Ohio. I've been here a few times since it's so close but I recently got a new camera so I returned to upgrade my pictures. Unfortunately, it goes a little more downhill every time I see it. Each room still has peeling wallpaper on the walls, giving you a good guess as to who might have called that room home. A nursery or small child's room has Winnie the Pooh, another has a sun/moon/stars pattern and other has a horseback rider. Due to the cold, I didn't spend as much time there as usual but there's always next time.

looks cold. thanks for tuffing it out.

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.

Yeah, the wind was ridiculous especially with all the windows being broken. At one point, I spent a few minutes just sitting on the stairs because it was the only place to get away from the wind.

I love the shots of it from the outside.

Would love to see it in the summer, with the trees full of leaves, or even in the fall when the leaves are changing. Seems like it would make for a great photo.

It does look really nice in the summer except that one side of the house is completely covered by vines. I don't think I have any summer shots of it; I'll have to grab some this year.

Very nice, but why you shooting with flash? Tripod and long exposures always gives better quality than portable flash.

I'm still learning how to use my camera. Also, I kind of rushed this one a little bit because I was freezing.
