One of the big industrial locations in Hamilton, Ontario and one of my favourite spots to explore mostly because of the big emptiness of it all. The Firestone Plant in Hamilton operated from 1921 to 1988 and while some sections saw reuse the abandoned sections including the boilerhouse was torn down in the spring of 2012. These photos were taken over the course of 2006 to 2010. You can see the full set on flickr.
