Some buildings have past. This sure has it's own. Main building was built at 1878 and this was one time Finland's biggest mansion what comes to land area and it still have 4400 hectares around it including golf course etc.
Mansion's history is at it's own level. There have been many deaths (which is quite obvious comparing to it's age of 137), last ones at this century, but also quite many suicides have been done in it's rooms. Also one owner did get at the time of civil war in so bad situation that he did have quickly sell whole mansion. After that he did take few friends with him and get travel through Europe spending money like hell. Millions did end while coming back at Paris; past millionaire did give out all the money that were left so friends could get back home and after that he did head to his hotel room, go to bath and cut his wrists open - one more suicide.
Mansion also have some other strange deaths through it's past. One death of child was caused by other children's damage shot. One owner did shoot three teenagers to their tent because they have been camped on mansion's territory.
So if you would believe unnatural or curse or life after death, this would be nice place to get in the mood. Sadly I don't believe any of those, so for me this was only really beautiful old mansion with bit gloomy history. I believe that there have happen much good things too, but who cares about those..? Human's mind is quite weird if you really think it.
Anyway they say that it is in too bad condition to repair, so they are planning to demolish it and build new (and modern) mansion at that place. Really, really, really sad.

And then there were only one photo left, that traditional climax of idiotism (because this is UE-forum): off-topic-bonus-picture! This time it comes from rapids. For my surprise I did get at shared first place in one photo contest (with UE-photo by the way), and from that I did get gift card to camera shop so I did get Canon EOS 1200D, because now it's much more stressfull to torture my 1000D knowing when it will die I don't have to suffer withdrawal symptoms. I did also get Keiko Pro ND8 filter; now I can use long exposures even in daylight which feels like... freedom! This is from first test trip containing stone, ice and flowing water.
