I guess I missed the last meet and greet, but I would like to make this one.

It'd be great to have you, Kville!

So we're doing this thing on the 27th, which is only a week and a half away. I can pick a spot if needed, but I'd rather this be a group effort. Does anybody have an idea of a place they'd like to go eat?

I'm going to throw my 2 cents in...I'd love to go to Fusion Taco. I just don't know what it's like on Friday nights, at all. Their food is reasonably priced, they have beer and wine, and the food is phenomenal (the whole one time I had it).

Fusion Taco's website

That's a great suggestion. Never been, but I'm up for it. Anyone else have any votes/thoughts/suggestions?

How is the parking situation there? After the bike festival or whatever that was last month, Downtown got a whole less parking-friendly than it already was, in my mind. And I thought it was a nightmare for parking before that.

I have no idea, I didn't realize until I posted that it's like 2 blocks from where we met last time. So, odds are good I get lost. *sigh* There's no winning. But it's street parking again.

Also, there's some neat outfalls near there...I haven't gone in them yet...but I want to.

Well, street parking is free after six, so that's not that big an issue. And I feel like having a location nearby is a pretty great reason to pick that spot. Those interested can go check it out together afterward.

That's why the meet-and-greet is separate, so that anyone who isn't a fan of whatever other folks want to do doesn't have to do the explore just to meet up. Plus, if you find some other people who want to do a different outing after dinner, so much the better!

I say WOOOOO on drains! I <3 the underground. But either way, the meet and greet is fun. ESPECIALLY with food and booze. I'm totally in for a post meet and greet adventure! Regardless of where it is.

Also, I <3 tacos. So let's do Fusion!

Okay, so it looks like we're set with Taco Fusion for this month. The meeting page ought to be updated now.

Hey guys! I saw a few of you were new to drains so I Wanted to give you a heads up of what you might anticipate if you planned on going with us! Take a look here if you haven't already.

About Houston Drains

Of course, I will be more than happy to answer any and all questions you have further, both in that thread and at the meet&greet.

Dang it! I work late on Friday nights, but EHH. Drains aren't my cup of juice. Although, it would be nice to meet some new faces (IMPLAUS1BLE''s pretty mug just doesn't do it for me anymore): If you guys ever plan a meet up for Saturdays or Sundays y'all can count me in. Most of my exploring is done solo, but I also enjoy exploring with IMPLAUS1BLE whenever there's time and our schedules allow it.

Also, I miss UER! Wish I had more time for it these days, but you know, work :/

Congrats on a successful meeting! Maybe it'll kick us in Dallas into gear, so you don't show us up.

I will be in Dallas next month for a wedding and I would love to squeeze the time for a meet up with anyone that has the time on the weekend of the 18th. Saturday, Sunday, or Monday could work. AtticAddict? Anyone?

It went well! Had an awesome dinner. Then we found a drain I wasn't sure about, met with a dead end (need more to get past it, but it's happening soon) and then the drain I was looking into wasn't a good one, unfortunately. Then we ended up in Houston's largest tunnel, which is an awesome tunnel, lots of fun!

I think we all enjoyed ourselves.
