Hey everyone, been on this site for a little while now, just been a lurker and never introduced myself. So here it is!
I am and explorer that hails from the tri-cities area of illinois (st.charles, geneva, batavia) meaning im about an hour west of the city. I've been an explorer for about 5-6 years now so i would consider myself relatively well versed in the hobby. I'm pretty lucky (i would think) to have siblings and quite a few friends that share my passion for exploring/adventure. That said, i'm very interested still in meeting new people in the chicagoland area! Found quite a few locations in my 5 years, some have since been demolished/ re-purposed, some still standing. I'm also not much of a photographer (which seems to be a rarity on this site), i enjoy more snooping around, learning the history and imagining what the place could've been like when it was still in use, and how it could be 5 years from now. I also love a good challenge getting in ;) However if people are interested, im sure i could dig up a few photos of my previous explores and will remember to take some in the future haha. I look forward to being a more active member of the community and meeting some new faces!

Welcome! i grew up out there some times as well. Is there a lot out there? I know Aurora has some stuff but never checked STC or anywhere over there. Chicago is rich in adventures if you ever come out here. Although its demo season
