If anyone is interested in my status from my bad fall last Summer, I'm doing quite well. I'm in the middle of transitioning from walker to cane, but no more wheelchair. It was a brutal injury (16 fractures) and it's been a rough recovery and I wanna thank you guys for all your support. But I have been getting out to take some photos, here's some from just recently.

I had a leg injury that put me down for a bit and I had to go from a walker to cane then slowly walk again. It's a bummer, but at least your moving forward.

Haven't met you in person yet but heard about the injury. I'm out of action for the next month or two myself because of surgery, and have to wait for my eye muscles to grow back. Sucks how the stuff that puts you out of action usually isn't even exploring-related but instead is just random bullshit beyond your control.

#1 looks cool, is it on some kind of tour?

I'm sorry to hear about your injury and surgery, I wish you a speedy recovery. Yeah, I was on vacation when I got hurt, just relaxing, it's a damn shame. thanks for your remarks

thanks chief. that is actually the hospital ward at Eastern State Penitentiary. It's part of the tour but it does have special viewing times only. ESP was a good place to go early on in my recovery. I had been before but it really just felt good to go somewhere abandoned and shoot.

glad to hear you are recovering well!! very nice shots also. the area around that mill looks absolutely beautiful.

I remember early into my urban exploring days, one of the first little vacant houses I had found walking around cost me a few weeks off my feet. I was new to the entire thing and went back that night, was inside for about five minutes when I heard sirens from pretty close by, thinking they were coming for me I took off out of the window I had climbed through like a bat out of hell and ended up slipping on a patch of ice and twisting my ankle pretty good.

naturally the sirens weren't for me and I limped home feeling like a dumbass haha. but lesson learned, safety always come first.
