I ran across this church in Baltimore one evening a couple of months ago. It was occupied, so I took no interiors. If anyone has any info about when and why it was abandoned, please let me know.

Very cool church, sad to see something that beautiful rotting away but it's only nature. Great photos!

Thanks! There's a new - and significantly less grand - apostolic church next door. Not sure why they would have left this one to crumble.

Here's a shot of the front:

no. 7 is a synagogue. i was in there and the building attached which is now being converted into apartments.

i dont know much about that church but i never got into it when I had the chance. from some interiors i saw it didnt look too exciting.

I'm gonna guess it was abandoned because they built the new ugly, modern church next to it and moved there. And they used the old building for storage.

Something about the pool creeps me out. Why did they have a pool anyways?
