I'm including some pictures that I got over these past few days with a Pentax MX-1. I visited this abandoned water plant that used to service the University of Iowa. It is to be demolished this weekend, and I believe that I was the last non-worker to see what's inside.
The buildings themselves - there are two, in a complex - contain relatively newer equipment, but one of the two buildings is nearly a century old, simply containing newer stuff on the inside. All the interior photos that don't look so good I got by sticking my camera into gaps between the boards and bricks of the older building, as there is no way in. I've included them to give y'all an idea of what it looked like inside, not as much for art purposes. The newer building had an open door so the pictures I got inside were a bit nicer.
Here are my best shots from these past couple days, I hope you like them!
