Yesterday I did force myself to this abandoned farm. I've photograph it seven times through four years: I've always have strange feeling that if somewhere, here should be old car abandoned to some bush or building. It really have been just feeling but I've keep my eyes open and lost my faith already.

And then yesterday I did find one car there! There still is easy explanation to that: I've been photographing it only at spring, summer and autumn but never winter and with leafs... no way to spot it.

But here comes bit christmas eve's eve mood from abandoned farm in Southern Finland...

Old Wheels:

The Death of Birch:

Rusty Knife, Frost on Window:

Cold Grave (End of the Song):

This Great and Cold Silence:

Short Are Days at the End of December:

When Life Turns to Death:

Camera, Candle and Deer Hoist:

Book of Long Gone Memories (Lost Words):

Flower of Winter:

This Silence, This Coldness (Sweet Loneliness):

End of Path:

Frozen Inside, Winter Outside:

Things from Past:

Chaos Theory in Colours:

When Light Is Gone:

So Hollow I Am:

Forgotten and Hidden:

Signs of Past Life:

-----

And finally my traditional off-topic madness shall be something completely different: Photo from abandoned mill ruins, so it ain't so much off-topic I think! Merry god damned christmas to everyone.

Great set! I really like 'Cold Grave' - it has a rather eerie subtlety to it that strikes a chord with me.

Always appreciate your photography! The B&W's are just wonderful. Those coats make my imagination run wild. and, the touch of color in Signs of Past Life is perfect. Of the color pics my fave is the lamp shade.

Fucking excellence reached!

Your images evoke a forlorn, forgotten loneliness of a frozen coldness that will never leave those walls.

Did you at least write your name in the snow with a steaming beer piss?

Thank you very much, sir, but I still must complain about that "sir" word used: I am man but sooooooo ordinary idiot that... sir is way too much for me (my favorite subject for building bad humor here)!

Thanks. I really love that bird skeleton, it's amazingly beautiful I think. Still waiting that photo which really would make glory to it.

I always appreciate your comments (and photos too)! And what comes to use of BW I'm happy if it works - it's always quite... don't know why I select it to some photos, I mean it just feels that they work better with less colours. And what comes to that lamp shade, I am still waiting that photo which really... hey, didn't I just do this with bird photo? It seems that whole place is filled with photos that are just waiting to be get better.

Bloody (nice word, right now I'm listening In This Moment's Bloody Creature Poster Girl song) hell, I did piss but I didn't make signature. Damned!

I've taste that beer, now empty bottle is part of my "I don't know how much but last time when I did count them at the early 2000 there were 300+ different beer bottles" collection.

Kiitoksia perkeleesti.
