Texas_Butter, Greencheese and i recently took a trip to a hospital i've had my eye on for quite some time. I would have visited much sooner, but with how busy i've been and the distance from Appleton it is located, i just never found the time. After confirmation from another explorer that it was indeed accessible, i decided it was finally time to make the trip.

An article from 2009 states it's to be converted into a retirement community of sorts, but being as it's already 5 years later, and there hasn't been much work done to it yet, i'm thinking they must've lost funding. I'm not able to find any updated information, but it definitely seems like they started the process, as it's been cleared out of most things, and there are a couple dumpsters of scrap sitting outside.

I wasn't really feelin' my photography this day, but i managed to salvage a decent set out of my mostly garbage shots. I hope you enjoy!

01. Exterior, obviously.

02. A standard hospital hallway shot.

03. Reception. Most of the levels' floor plans were exactly the same.

04. One of my favorite things about this place was the view.

05. Greencheese gettin' a quick shot of the lake.

06. Another hallway shot.

07. Texas_Butter.

08. There was a game room of sorts on 3 of the levels.

09. There was shuffleboard in each of the 3 rooms.

10. The top floor was noticeably more decayed.

11. No longer lightin' the way.

12. Assisted poops.

13. One damp-ass cafeteria.

14. Workshop, with shadow-tools.

15. The hospital had it's own small power plant.

16. This might be a P.O.E. It might not. You'll never know!

17. Back patio/porch area.

18. Texas_Butter tryin' to be a model. It wasn't working.

19. Another exterior, this time in vertical format!

And that's all, folks.
I definitely need to go back and get some better photos!
Full set hurr, if you waa check out the even worse shots.
Thanks for stoppin' by!

Nice. Reminds me of Abbott Hospital back in the day.

Thanks, guys! It's a pretty decent spot. I was really hoping there was more left over there, though. Oh, and a morgue. That would've been super rad.

Those were some pretty damn good shots, considering you weren't into them. There is a hospital about ten miles from where I live that shut down in like 1985 and I have been dying to get in but a private owner bought it and it has security that circles ever so often. But, I digress, this was a hell of a set and a great location

That place looks pretty awesome. I love some of your shots, including the shadow tools.
