arsytee and I visited this classic Central Florida location even though it was cleared out a few years ago.
Theodore Strawn originally opened the orange packing plant in 1882 but the original wooden building burned down in 1921. Right after the fire, the iconic sawtooth roof building was constructed to be fireproof. In the extreme winter of 1983, almost all of the trees in the area were killed and the facility closed its doors.
Throughout the years, constant vandals, arsonists, and scrappers heavily damaged the property. In 2008 and 2010 large fires destroyed a lot of the surrounding buildings. Today, only 3 buildings remain, all pretty much empty.
Because of the nature of the location, we were able to take our time and create a very detailed cinematic video.

Posted by Light__ Nice video! I've been there before too...
Thanks! You uploaded the pics the same day we filmed so we thought we had been there the same day and somehow missed you, until I saw the date taken on flickr haha.
