This. For wider angle the 10-22 or 17-40 are both very good, especially the 10-22 on a crop camera.

yes sir, I used a 10-22 on crop camera before going full frame. I want a 16-35 but haven't brought myself to drop the coin on it yet.

I just bought a new camera and had been thinking of grabbing the Canon 35L or 50L. Instead, I bought the Sigma 35 art and Sigma 50 art lenses, and they both blow the Canons out of the water for like half the price!

Those are some great shots with that lens. I've thought about getting an ultra-wide angel, but can't seem to commit to one I really like.

Sigma huh? I've never had a good experience with Sigma. What's the 35L ? L series? Maybe I haven't given Sigma the change it deserves.

The new Sigma Art lenses are completely redesigned, gone seem to be the hit or miss quality issues and if need be you can buy the usb dock that allows adjustments and firmware updates right at home, no more sending in the lens. Also, the Sigma 50 in every review is being equated to as sharp if not sharper than the Zeiss 50.

Despite recently getting a few new lenses, the stock 18-55 has been my go-to lens for most shooting. I have a wide-angle attachment for it, to get some of the full shots.

I've also got a 500mm lens, which I've used for some external shots from a distance.
