This place was magnificent. We didn't have a lot of time to explore this place because we had to get back home (after a fun weekend of offroading). After doing some research, I found out this place opened it's doors in 1927 and closed in 2004. The history of this place is pretty neat, plus the town itself used to be a resort town built on a natural mineral spring. The road was pretty quiet, except for a few cars passing by every so often.
I did not have my good camera with me, so I had to settle with my Iphone, which isn't as bad. If i'm ever in the area again, I will get better pictures.

Gets worse every time I see it. What a shame. I tried to get into 26 when I was there too. I found a loose board to take off, but unfortunately it only led into the basement.

Nice set, too bad you couldn't stay longer. That table setting is new, your handiwork?

I set the table setting up a few months ago, surprized it's still there...

I might be cool, but I'm far from a fan.

Yeah, I had one of my group go in to look for a staircase to the main floor, but there was none, which was surprising. There was also a building next to the street that we didn't get time to see- however we did explore the buildings in picture 27.

Judging from all the personal effects, I would have been expecting to meet squatters around every corner. Yikes!

Awesome place! So eerily beautiful.

I guess I'm one of the few people who really didn't care for this one much.

That one room looked lived in for awhile. Down the hall, someone (presumably the same person) had appliances plugged in and stuff stored- meaning the hotel must have had power for a little while after it closed down. Then the squatters must of left once the power got cut out.

These buildings were also down the street from the hotel.

Getting worse with each set of photos I see from here. Such shitty tagging too, at least I never saw a "homopex" tag here.
I rearrange the dining room set-ups whenever I visit and I have never run into a squatter in here, but across town, at one of the shittier hotels I have met up with a squatter.
How did the Imperial on Main Street look?

Not certain, but I don't think that is the Imperial...looks like the place nearby.

It is. That's the doctors office building next door to the main building.

No, not the medical building next to it, the actual Imperial Bath House, here is a link to some photos a friend took a few years ago:

I was wondering if work has started on it yet? Suppose to get re-purposed, or at least that was the story last year.
