Great idea. Don't listen to this guy.

The only time you should ever run is if you have either a head start and you know you can get away or you haven't been found yet and you know you can get away.

That's kind of obvious, better to just talk to whoever is there and be honest. Honestly I'd rather that than a resisting charge.

I ran from a really fat guy on a quad once...was funny, he said he was calling the police, I said by the time you get back up to your house to make the call and unwedge your fat ass off that quad I will be home drinking a beer...bye bye!!!
Really, was I gonna wait around?

I would lay low for a while; if you get caught again soon, the cop will be less likely to be lenient based on your disregard for authority. How long though? I have no idea :p

I used to think that i'd never get caught at the Psych center, and I have been going for years. Got caught this past summer, only had to pay 50$ and i brushed it off, was nothing. Got right back into it, and I just know that I need to be a little more cautious when making my way out of the place now. No big deal.
I would not stop exploring if I was you, keep at it and hope for a different outcome You will only get better and learn new things as you explore

I can relate to this. I got arrested exploring a few years ago:

It's been hard for me. Exploring has never been the same since that experience.

I know how you feel, after my arrest in 2012 I have explored maybe 5 places and I always make sure they're VERY low risk. Just take your time. Do exteriors of some places for a bit til you get comfortable again.

It's just a trespassing ticket, no criminal record.
