3. About as out of sight you can be in the open desert. Good coverage from elements and stray bullets.

Sometimes the desert is the only appropriate place to shoot and sometimes "The Hills Have Eyes" gives me the willies at night

When does it stop being stealth camping and start being homelessness? I did it for a couple of weeks in the woods on the outskirts of Minot, North Dakota, after I tired of sleeping in my car. Thank God it was summer. Didn't do any exploring at the time, was more concerned with finding a job.

Discussion reminded me of this little gem of a story from my home state:
http://usatoday30....ex-offenders_n.htm
There are more dangers than the urban coyote in the forests of Atlanta.

I would say that it changes based on the frequency. For instance, if you're just doing it every now and then, it's camping. If you're planning on staying there for a while and don't have a permanent place to live, you're homeless.

That being said, I've done this several times in a small building in the woods nearby. I just strapped my hammock up to pipes on the walls and slept there.

stealth camping sounds way too xtreme-1337-haX0r for me. I squat regularly though.

If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public!
If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet!
Don't try to have a UER e-penis! You won't impress anyone! This especially means you, Minneapolis MN newbies!
