- This is my fist photo post in the UER forums so if I'm not doing it right please let me know. I've read as much as I can on it but I may have missed some things.

- Recently I went to visit my parents in upstate NY. I remembered an old abandoned train depot that I thought would be a ton of fun to take photos of. I took a walk down to the depot and started snapping photos with my phone. My trip got cut short when I realized that the place now had electricity and people working in it! I was asked to leave so I really only got 4 good photos.

Turns out that the railroad company came back and are restoring the place! My parents told me that it looks like they are stockpiling brand new flat cars out side of town for some big project.

I hope to be posting many more photos soon!

That's a good beginning man! With a bit of after editing, you could make those pics look a whole lot more badass. If you don't wanna get too hardcore with the editing, you could try at least to apply some filters.

Also a tip for a beginner: always take some other explorer with you! You never know in what kind of situation you will end up, so it's good to have somebody alongside.

Explore alone if you like to. Nothing wrong with that.

For compression on photos. Seems the masses recommend Flickr to host photos.

Works for me.
