Went to visit a friend yesterday. Wanted to check out the abandoned tire factory but it was bum heavy and looked like there was a security guard on duty. He took me here but we were pressed for time so we only checked out the pool. Definitely planning a return trip.

Is that the place next to the gas station? Where the front parking lot got turned into a car dealership storage lot? I always see cops around it nowadays, but it used to be really easy and low key.

Sure looks like it.

If the gate is closed, start at the hotel on the other side of the street, catch the bike trail out of sight to the South of the convenience store, then come through the woods. Cops usually won't come in on foot.

The back story on that is that it's owned by a bunch of doctors that have an investment club of sorts.

It got flooded in 2008 and never reopened.

The pool photos are cool, and the trashed laundry room area. What I would give to explore a shady abandoned hotel/motel. Would love to see more photos of the place if you ever get back there.
