Completely shrouded by trees on a rural unpaved road in Noble County, Ohio is a two-story brick school that has been deteriorating for decades. It was built as a high school in 1922 but I can't find a date of closure. Because of some of the stuff inside, I'm guessing it was probably used by a local farmer for storage later. In the summer, it is so hidden by foliage that I bypassed it the first time and only saw the front steps once I turned around and came back. Inside, most of the top floor and roof are gone, beams hang from the ceiling and not much is stable.

2. Because of all the trees in the way, I couldn't really get any good outside shots.

4. I'm really not sure what is going on here. This contraption is perfectly in line with a hole in the floor.
5. A very similar hole was in the exact same place in the opposite classroom. I'm assuming these were cut. I'm not sure what the deal is with all those rusty metal rods either.
6. Like a lot of other old rural schools I've seen, each classroom had a closet-type structure built in.
7. Hooks in the closet where I guess the kids hung their coats and bags.
8. Everything in the back room was mostly collapsed except the exterior walls. View from the top floor.
9. View from the bottom floor
10. Creepy hallway on the bottom floor that led to three small rooms. The two rooms with the sliding metal doors contained the furnace and other mechanical stuff. The center room might have been a bathroom but I don't know.
11. Some rusty farm equipment near the back door

13. One bottom-floor room had some old furniture in it. I can't tell what that is beyond the cabinet. I couldn't get a good shot of it because so much stuff has collapsed onto it.
