So i got my long-awaited vacation to reach Berlin for 3 EUR.
( 1218 km away from my hometown)
Most of UER members know that there are amazing places in Berlin (Teufelsberg, Spreepark, etc) . BUT i asked to some local German explorers , how the things are going in Berlin and they replied that the old good times of Berlin as a great place for exploring has gone. So...i didn't expect nothing too exciting...
Honestly, i hardly doubt that i would ever return to Berlin. You can walk there for hours and won't see anything abandoned by chance. Too little places for such big city.
K' , let's start with Poznan...
Very cool guy who created a local urban exploring page about his area (Poznan) took me to some safe (no guards and dogs) places to explore
Old fortifications around the city of Poznan are in many places but only few are accessible or remained. This was relatively hard to access (slippery plums!) This was a large complex. One small part of it was occupied by a homeless dude, the main part of it was occupied by some car repair workshop.
Fun climbing. Scent of plums is adorable. ^^
He also took me to the countryside where was located one of his favorite places.
This abandoned church is weird because it consists of two buildings - church itself and modern administration building which is connected with the church. Funny thing is , there was a bar. Basically people could go and beg for forgiving their sins and then get some booze.
Unfortunately we didn't look for the entry of church tower because some people might see us out there and call the police.
This is the clock from tower (see picture above)
Old manor in countryside. Polish explorer said that the rooftop of this building won't survive this winter.
It was surrounded of weeping willows.
Nothing much to see inside (also it was too dangerous to explore 2nd floor)
Other side. Not so fancy.
Ooooooh countryside blues. Abandoned prison for under-aged and 'soft' criminals.
Funny thing was, there's a driving school nearby this place and the lady who was teaching how to drive, closed the entry gates of this prison. Basically we were trapped inside prison area. But of course, there were another exit - there was a hole in fence

At the end of the day we couldn't get into large cold-war bunker. It was located in military area which is still in operation. We passed by the warning sign, went further about 5 meters and then a car stopped by with one angry man who asked if we couldn't see the sign that doesn't allow entry of the area. Ehhhhhhh....so close..
As a bonus, he met his friend who was living in Poznan's most famous and oldest squat in town.
Views from rooftop were amazing, squat was located in the heart of Poznan's old-town.
And a blurry selfie

M kay...
Berlin!
Some of the explorers might have been walked this abandoned Siemens factory S-bahn (train) line. The story is long and exciting (
http://www.abandon...s-abandoned-s.html)
While i was taking the photos, one cyclist stopped by and said he wrote a bachelor's thesis about this abandoned railway line. He told me some interesting facts about it and also pointed to some other interesting spots in town, related with unused railway lines. Yep. Right time, right place!
Little fluffy fellas (rabbits) are now living around this railway line
I saw one, jumping across the rails.
And this is uber-known place in Berlin - abandoned railway depot in Pankow station.
Building is in a poor condition , it has many graffitis inside.
And the last place i visited in Berlin, that we all have seen on UER for manyyyyyyyy times , radar base in Teufelsberg. I met there are German dude who told me that he explores abandoned railways and he has stolen the kilometer sign (yeah, big one, made out of concrete) and put it in his garden as a decoration.Crazy Germans!

Stopped by at Warsaw, met there explorer who took me to one old abandoned building nearby former jewish ghetto. The entrance was tricky enough to get excited.
There were much furniture left in abandoned flats. It seemed flats were abandoned from 90's. Explorer said there used to live rich people because some decorations in staircase was made out of marble.
rooooooooooooooooooooooooof
Other places nearby were too hard to access...i wouldn't climb traffic lights in a foreign country before midnight
But i guess nothing is impossible for Polish explorers
!
P.S.
Unfortunately i had to take photos with a camera that was running out of batteries all the time and without tripod
I wish i could tike along my film SLR camera, but it was too heavy for this one-week-long backpacking trip.
