Heck, we put up no trespassing signs at our mine. They only cost a few bucks.

You have a mine? Not to be off topic or anything , but a mine? Seriously ?

Actually a couple of friends and I do have an old mine outside of Tonopah, NV. As avid mine explorers, we we thought it would be cool to say we own a mine. It's a fun place to camp and explore other area mines.

It's a 100 foot shaft with three levels. We are currently designing a small winch to haul dirt / ore out of the mine. We have taken samples but I haven't had them assayed yet.

I can't find any historical records on it yet, but it probably produced in the late 1800s or early 1900s. It appears that there was some additional work on a much smaller scale in the 40s or 50s. The original mine had a winch and headframe, unfortunately both are long gone now. The entire valley where the mine is located it marked with claim markers. Obviously someone is interested in the area.

A pre-purchase explore...

Here is some copper and other mineralization. The mine up-slope from us produced some gold according to records.
