Most of these hospital buildings have been closed since the 60s. One building in particular was filled with about 5 or 6 large barn owls. See first picture.

Would love to read those log entries. The colors are amazing... but i also like the artwork on the wall in 6 and the lighting in 8. Very Nice Set Tarrant

Wow, Tarrant. The owl just peeking through the doorway in the first pic (upon blowing the photo up on Flickr) looks to be a Barn Owl. They are listed as threatened or endangered in most states. As a wildlife fanatic... awesome find!

I cannot believe the shape that place is in considering how long it's been abandoned. The hospital near me in Western New York has only been empty since the 90s and is in WAY worse shape. Some is due to scrappers and vandals, but the main thing that really kills the buildings is all the snow and freeze thaw cycles. Something you really don't need to worry about down south.

The warm weather does wonders for the buildings down here. The campus is also completely active so it makes it harder to break in.
