Absolutely wonderful and rings very close to me, as my mom's family were in Scheveningen during the war. On occasion my Oma would tell stories of the horrors they went through under Nazi occupation.

That's interesting Axle! It must have been a hard time, but luckily no battle was fought here. Still about 140.000 people were kicked out of Scheveningen. Do you know if she got the special permit to stay?

Her and her family were forced to leave, went to stay with one of her older brothers or sisters living in The Hague.
