As people may know I am heading over to the States in the middle of September for a little while, and my plans have changed somewhat - it turns out I will now be spending probably a few days in Chicago in late September/early October. Now I have done zero research into Chicago as I hadn't even thought about me visiting there when I first started planning my trip so are there any Chicago 'locals' out there who wouldn't mind showing me around some spots?

Any help would be much appreciated, cheers!

If all else fails, Gary IN is only about a half hour away.

The plan is for me to 'do' Gary first (lol) then go onwards to Chicago as I've got a contact there (non urbex) who is willing to let me sleep on his floor/in a cupboard for a few days, so hopefully I can hook up with some local explorers and get some stuff done.
