Thinking of a trip anyone been to what seems to be this lovely place? Seen active security on one side but the rest seems pretty quiet. So anyone been or interested in perhaps planning a trip?

My production company is located in Beverly and myself live in the Arlington / Winchester / Cambridge area. So not far from Gloucester I've actually been wondering what kind of places are in the Gloucester area.

Its worth a look see the grounds are public property so that is half the battle won right there.

Are you saying the grounds are publicly walkable or it's worth a look to see if they are?

When last there there was no gates saying keep out you can drive right up we actually drove around the campus a bit "lost".

I went im the old Copper paint factory one time a while ago it was great I got good pics on my old 35mm film camera thats how long its been. Now there is no way to get in there. You can see ot on the movie A Perfect Storm when you see the boat leaving its in the scene.I'm trying to get permission to go into an old Birdseye frozen food factory before they make a hotel out of it.It huge with underground tunnels and 3 very big floors.

Security is only there weekdays. If you want to go do it soon because it'll all be gone soon. If you go on the weekend you should have no problem.

if the place you're referring to is the place I think then yes, it is ridiculously easy to access, or at least it has been when I've gone.

I am super interested in places in the gloucester/salem/beverly area... willing to meet up probably as we get closer to the fall, I am getting married this weekend (holyshit) and have been insanely busy lately as a result. I want/need to get out exploring once that is over with though!

also potentially next week I may be available...

I live in the methuen/lawrence area.

Ahhh, okay. Depends which part of "Monsoon" you go to. The older stuff used to be easier, but I haven't been in a while.
