While doing some "rural exploring" I found what looks like and old fishing shack in the woods near a river. I was debating posting this but I figured someone might want to see haha.

Looks like a cross between a fallout shelter and a mausoleum. I don't think shelters get windows though...

I don't think they build shacks out of cement like this, I would think BIGGER.

I don't think there was any mining here I'm not sure though. Apparently attempts were made to build dam's a while ago but that never went through. Its located around 100 yards from the largest freshwater river on Long Island. Im really intrigued about what it was used for. It kind of has its own mystique since its not documented anywhere, like a larger site would be.
