I got to explore the ruins of an old resort that was built in the 1920s and abandoned back in the 1950s. There foundation and chimneys of the main lodge are still there, as well as a giant above ground pool and a bunch of other miscellaneous rusted pipes, concrete platforms, and stone staircases. The best part is that it's all virtually untouched by graffiti.
I had to be pretty quiet and discreet because there are about 10 private homes right in the area. Some are literally next door to the remains of the resort.
1. I'm not sure what this thing was.
2. Staircase leading to main lodge.

6. Approaching the above ground pool. I had to be very quiet because there was a house directly on the other side of it.
7. Dried up swimming pool. There were some large cacti growing in and around it.
8. This staircase led down into one of the locker rooms.
9. creepy dark locker room. Still had lockers, showers, and toilets inside.
