Very interesting! I spent a week in Blaenau Ffestiniog (where this trampoline is set up) a couple of years ago exploring some of the slate mines with friends. I'm not sure if it's the same guy, but I may know the guy that put it together. I have a friend who lives there so I could follow up with him and find out what the deal is. The slate mines there are huge beyond belief. It wasn't uncommon for it to take 30 minutes or more to climb from the bottom of a chamber to the top. Oh yeah, wet slate is SLICK!

I need to dig some of those photos up and post them. Even the above ground slate processing facilities were amazing.
