Something found tucked/pressed into the pages of a book.

I thought I had something perfect for this - I found an abandoned treasure trove house a few years ago in which was a large very old leather-bound bible, and pressed in between a couple of the pages was a small bag containing a four-leaf clover. Tried to find a photo of it only to realise I never took a photo of the clover

Now this isn't UE however it IS historic and no one besides one other person has touched this book in at least 50+ years. I work in publishing and managed to wrangle the keys to our library to take some pictures before the books are donated to a loving library. This book is (c) 1894 and has something to do with Manitoba. I happened to flip through it and find this, which was pretty fricken neat. Anyway... since it isn't UE you don't need to consider it, but I wanted to post anyways.

L'Ali, that was the exact photo I was thinking of when I made the request! It got me thinking about what others may have found pressed or hidden in books. You should have made the next request, but since time has run out anyway, I'll start something new. How about:

A floor sinkhole

A floor sinkhole

Something 'out of place' for the location it's in.

I'd say this roller skate doesn't belong on this slab in the morgue:

Does anybody have an abandoned roller skating rink (or other suitable place) where I can use it?

Tough one! But I think I can score with this pic....
Found in an abandoned house in Hamilton, Ontario that was filled with many other Russian items.
