fuck you if you don't like it, Kenny.

Ha sorry my bad, I was just joking around and I really improperly conveyed my message.

First off I forgot to say that I've never worn a respirator because I've never felt I needed to, and the only times I've ever needed a gas mask is when I've gotten my head stuck up my ass like I so often do here. But this is this guy's first post here and its at GARY, INDIANA but we're talking about gas masks. I mean just who gives a fuck, yeah it's fine to say they might not need it, but it shouldn't over shadow what they explored. It's not like you shit on them, but acting like that is what scares so many people not want to be apart of the community. Especially when it's from a long time, respected member of the site like yourself. Just saying.

IMHO for people who have employment which is not compatible with being identified in online photos, and for people who like to humanise their pics with portraits of those same people who need to keep their faces out of sight, then gas masks are just as appropriate as any other form of mask. I have no desire to be the cliche police: people who don't like them needn't use them. I explore with a guy who wears, according to his mood: no face cover, a gas mask, a dust mask, and a large rubber horse head.

On the topic of gas mask vs. respirator, I don't care much about it, aesthetically the gas mask is in the public mind set as a "thing". I use a respirator when the situation seems to call for, I'd never use a gas mask because it is so clunky and would look silly on me.
So far as needing a respirator in the Sheraton, not so much except in the ground floor. The rest of it has been so cleaned up you have nothing to worry about.
If you ever get into the Lovell building you'll want one for the basement, the mold is horrific there. Welcome to Gary, that place is a treasure trove.
