I now live two thousand miles from this place and all of these places; which is perhaps no different than having them in your backyard and no time to go outside. By 2012 I was well into my goal to photograph everything, but 2013 forced the brakes and as time went on I just did other things.

Somehow I went to Somewhere State Hospital by a fluke of schedule and circumstance. Now there are no more state hospitals, but if there's something else I'll find it.

Well I found a work-around to my computer issues so I'm back to editing again. I want to get photos from the drive done first, but to be honest I barely took any. For such a huge trip there was almost nothing to photograph...one of the keepers is just a toad at a rest stop! I probably shouldn't have taken the tollway.
