| | | Posted by Orangedrink What I actually got out of UER was much better. I found a community of like minded people to share with and learn from. Amazing, amazing people that WILL share great locations if you earn their trust and seem like you're willing to contribute a little too.

Exactly. Couldn't have said it better myself. In the little over a year that I've been here, I've met numerous people that have the same interests as me, people who have shared absolutely awesome locations with me, and people who have given me the opportunity to turn around and then show off the cool locations that are near me. I met Orangedrink, in fact, when he was down for a visit in my part of the world. We went out for a drive through my state, and I had a BLAST showing him and his brother some of the local (and not so local spots)--spots that I'd started taking for granted because I've seen them so many times, but it was WAY cool to see them again through the eyes of someone who'd never seen them before. So yeah, fuck a bunch of database. The greatest benefit of being on here is finding like minded people, people who are into the same shit as you, people who are willing to go with you on explores, and people you can share your discoveries with.
