My first shot at film IR

Macophot IR820c (expired 2003) shot el 3 - with Hoya 72

Developed in Rodinal 1:100, @ 11 mins

Hand/tank agitated.

I picked up a jobo 2553 for my motor base but read that b&w is preferred in tank agitation with most developers (including rodinal). Mind if I ask your opinion? Suggestions?

I felt the Ir came out almost too grainy? Thoughts?

IR Film will usually have more grain than usual, and Rodinal will usually enhance that grain. Try using a different developer, something like Xtol.

Also what did you shoot the film at? Speed wise?

I really like "Back Alley Meeting." The framing of the chair and window absolutely makes that shot.
