After exploring that drain that ended my last album, I decided to head over to the Pabst complex since I heard they recently completed a beautiful restoration. It is now a grand hotel. I stole a few photos from the internet strictly for before and after reference. The stolen photos are from a recent photography book and provide a good comparison. I really want to name the guy and the book to give him full credit. But I also want to avoid my albums possibly showing up in public searches.
Completing my bike ride for the weekend, I ended up on the north side where I found this abandoned apartment complex. It wasn't the most premium location but a great party spot for sure and one of the more unique locations I've discovered. Not much was left inside but there were a few interesting items. It seems to be abandoned for only 7-8 months judging by the date on the newspaper.

I really like how they left the back of the pipe original. 5.

It looks like they moved these stairs as they now lead to nowhere. 7.

This place had been smashed up pretty good by vandals. 20.

I thought I heard a car door outside. So I hid up in the attic for a while. It was hot as a bitch up there. I'm glad I had lots of water with me. 25.

I'm guessing this was the manager's apartment. It was the only one with an intercom and the walls were painted just a little bit nicer. 31.
The entire ceiling of this room had been kicked in from the attic. 32.
I had a much, much better weekend since this one. Those albums coming soon..
