So I finally got around to doing an infil of the Janion Hotel. Looking back, it was probably a really stupid idea, going alone and in the middle of the day, but whatever. I'm not going to say much about my POE on a public board, but damn was it ever a bitch to get over. Getting inside, I was kind of disappointed, as most of the old building had been stripped away and the place was ripe with construction equipment, plastic sheeting and tape. I really wish I had gotten to the place quite a bit earlier, but I still think the ex was a success.

Awesome! I've been meaning to make a trip down there soon. What's a good time to go? I assume it wouldn't work in broad daylight...

Well, I did do it in daylight, but I definitely wouldn't recommend that. If I were you, I'd go late at night. After midnight, if possible. And make sure you bring climbing gear. My point of entry was complicated as fuck to get over, and I might have shifted it around a bit on my way out. If you want some details, PM me.

Yep. There's an archived thread...Full Members only...titled The Janion Revealed or something. Shitty pics with a 2005 era point and shoot...actually, more like a 2003 era...but whatevs. We were a team of three that night. We'd planned that infil carefully. Very detailed. Took a few recons over a few weeks to get it all down, but we were definitely ready. It was pissing rain that night. We fortified our resolve over pints at Swans, and waited for the rain to REALLY start coming down. We were in as planned, on budget and without so much as a scratch on the building. That's all I'll say about that. We had no idea what we'd find inside. Imagine our surprise when...

.....when you found the entrance that connects to the other tunnel that runs under wharf st and back to the old bay building. How am I doing? Full member access may have been denied but that doesn't mean I don't remember what I've both read and seen at different times. Or maybe you just mean, when you ran into Satan-again;)
