A nice place to spend an afternoon. Archibald Johnston was VP of Bethlehem Steel and the first mayor of Bethlehem. His efforts united North and South Bethlehem as a single entity, and his estate and mansion have since become a city park and conservation area. Efforts are ongoing to restore the mansion to its former glory.

I'd love to see what the interior of the mansion looks like, I'm sure it's awesome. Either way the property is beautiful though, and is a great place to kill an hour or two strolling around.

Soon I think, there's a few cars over that way I'm trying to buy. Maybe a week or so.

Looks to be extremely humid (haze on lens).
I'd love to see inside.

Twas a hot and humid day. These are also from my phone, so that probably explains it.

Here's a quick description of the interior, accompanied by a couple pictures. This is also the site of the organization looking to raise the funds to restore the mansion and continue to maintain the entire estate.

For anyone not familiar, Spillman Farmer, the modern day incarnation of the architecture firm that designed the mansion, is the same firm that designed the entire Steel Stacks complex and a good bit of the other redevelopment going on at Bethlehem Steel, which kinda brings the whole thing full circle.
