	Hello, I am new to this forum and I love the idea of of a Vancouver meet-up !! I think we should definitely make this happen. I would be absolutely thrilled to meet some of you guys.

	It was AMAZING. LauraPalmer and CanadianViking and a couple of friends showed up. We drank some wine, ate some tortilla chips, chatted about places. It didn't rain.

	I'm from the Abbotsford area and there's not a whole lot of stuff to explore so i would be interested in doing a meetup and finding out about new places.

How about a potluck in a park on a Saturday evening? Keep it accessible and affordable. BYO-whatever. Talking, bragging, and planning exploration -- getting to know each other -- but no plans for actual group infiltrations, at least officially.

Just for example: The picnic tables at Central Park in Burnaby, not far from Patterson station, 6:00 p.m., Saturday June 28th?

Central Park being, well, kind of central to the Greater Vancouver area, and only coincidentally close to my place.

Make an event listing for it! If I can make it, I will go. But that Saturday is the 27^th

I live in Kamloops, but try to get down to the coast as much as I can. Should be down last weekend of March.
