Lie rather still because this is the first time I've used this equipment.

| | | At the risk of Dallas being seen as inhospitable to a fellow explorer, I'll bite: Don't know if I qualify as an official representative of Dallas, but I've lived in the area my entire life and currently reside in a suburb to the north. I'm not sure what sort of UE you're into, but I know if I had a few days to dedicate completely to exploring, there are a couple places in my town I'd hit up. One is a semi-abandoned compound located on prime real estate property on the edge of town, which has been quietly owned for years by an ultra-religious group. The site contains several interesting buildings, including a geodesic dome-shaped structure. My other location involves procuring a boat. So, there's that. If you'll be in Denton County, (if you're traveling via I-35E South, you will be) there are many, many old barns and farmhouses right off the freeway--and probably even sweeter places if you follow one of the farm roads off the freeway--that I'd be content to explore all day long. Although, again, I don't know if that's your cup of urbex tea. Of course, when it comes to northern I-35, there's always the infamous Kirby mansion in Sanger. Located about 30 miles south of the OK border on the southbound side of I-35, you literally can not miss it. Already been explored many times and has an entry the uer location database courtesy of our own Captain Slow. (Hey, where is that guy anyway??!) http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=30029 Good luck, and remember: pics or it didn't happen.
