My family lives in Clinton, so I'm back in that area periodically to visit.

You have some interesting looking places in your photo thread. CNY and WNY used to have a ton to offer about 10 years ago, but I'm not too familiar with what's available anymore.

I know some places. I don't know if they are old ones that have best to death or if people don't know about them. I don't have access to the private forum.

I'm in Syracuse, I'll shoot you a PM. I feel like I can scope places out faster than I can explore them, but a lot of them are pretty ransacked and not exactly worth it. Still found a few pretty cool places, though, and I've only been here a couple of months.

I am in the Syracuse area as well, there isn't much left here of any interest outside of one or two locations, most everything is gutted, scrapped to hell or being re-purposed. That's not to say there isn't stuff nearby...

I've definitely noticed that most places within the city's core are completely gutted. I have two right now that I've scoped out that aren't trashed, but both are still partially in use (factory on a larger campus with an active office right next to my entrance, for example). Tried to go to both yesterday morning and each had one damn guy who came in to work on the weekend.

That figures, we recently lost one of the potentially best places in town and of course New Process Gear went from closed to repurposed almost instantly...we need to meet up and discuss local places and by local I mean everything within 75 miles.
