A return to Louisville, KY as part of the Mid-Atlantic Meetup (MAMU) VI event!

Taking on three roofs for sunset then night time shooting atop one of my favourite cities in the US.

Love every single one of these. Great work.

Great set, love me some cityscapes! And the clarity/sharpness/hyperfocus on #2 is something I have yet to accomplish consistently in my cityscapes... Any tips?

Number 2...heavily edited image.

But some tips, learn your gear, figure out at which aperture your lens will give you the best results, this was shot at f/8. HDR, don't knock it, it's really a useful tool with digital cameras, but you gotta learn how to make it look right.

This in particular was created with seven bracketed shots, one correct, then three under, three over (1 stop between each), combined with Photomatix, then run through Photoshop CS5 using the Nik plugin suite and Alien Skin Exposure 3.

Like anything, practice, try, experiment, figure out what you want first, then play until you get it!
