All of your photos in this set are fantastic but I especially love the globe in the second shot. I think it's creepy enough finding dead animals when I'm exploring so I can't even imagine what it would have felt like to have seen a fetus and skull.

This place looks incredible... and untouched by vandals too. Wow!

Interesting subject matter, but personally the pictures could have been so much better. I think the real draw here is the location itself and not the pictures.

On the subject of the fetus... It has a good chance of being real. Looks to me sometime between day 50 and 60 (the fingers and toes separate and lengthen). Also the coloration (if assumed to be preserved in formaldehyde or formalin) is correct for the specimen and the fluid, and the wound at the top of the head which would suggest an abortus specimen. However there are some suspicious things in that there seems to be an "over toning" of the muscles in the legs and arms and some other odd morphological characteristics. Normally the long bone muscles would be pretty atrophied until the later months of development. I will say a 70% chance of it being real, 30% chance if a reasonable quality medical reproduction (which used to all be packed in formaldehyde so as to be an accurate comparison for students and their other wet-lab specimens)

Thank you very much, selective color is a love it or hate it kind of thing. As far as what it's like finding this stuff, it's more a sense of wonder than of creepy.

Vandals and careless explorers have left their mark on this location, I can't even imagine how amazing it was when the facility was freshly disused. I just hope it manages to stay this way a while longer!

I think a fetus in a jar, abandoned chemicals, etc will be a draw even with shitty camera phone pics. Please feel free to offer constructive criticism of my photos rather than a nonconstructive "so much better".

Thanks for such a great analysis/explanation of the fetus. I for one appreciate you sharing this with us. I had no idea that the medical reproductions were packed in such a manner as to make them more like the formaldehyde stored real deal.

A fine set indeed. The location is something every explorer would hope to come across. You did a great job at capturing it. I hope you make many return trips here to fully handle it's opportunities for photos.

Do yourself a favor and keep the location to yourself. The second this gets out there, it will be looted beyond recognition.

Thank you, and speeling correctly is over rated haha. There are only a hand full of people that can get less than civil responses out of me... I figure it's theoretically possible for us to all play nice... Theoretically of course. So that's what I aim for. Plus, you can always use feedback on your photos... That's the easiest way to get better!
