This is my first post here on UER so let me know what you think!
My sister was recently in town and we like to go on drives around the rural areas where she grew up, on one day she wanted to drive by the first house she ever lived in. When we arrived i couldn't help but scream "SCORE" at the sight of what we found!
There is a total of 3 RV's on site, a chicken coup, a utility shed and a decaying house. The property is almost entirely surrounded by wild life refuge and I can only imaging in the summer months is teeming with insects snakes and god knows what else. (one reason I like exploring in colder months)
I call this spot the eastern star because one artifact found was a brooche(not pictured) and after further research found out it was for the Freemasons Order of the Eastern Star. Which the last know resident of the home was a member and passed away in 2006. Its amazing what you can find on the internet.
Pictures were taken on my iPhone so its not the greatest quality, and my brother is the man pictured... Im a people person, so I like people pictures.
1. While walking, I stepped on something hollow, so bro investigated...
2. Approaching
3. Looks like someone literally blew this up.
4. When nature takes over
5. The lighting inside was very low, but these blinds were glowing with nicotine stains
6. Bro managed to catch a cobweb with his sleeve and this is what was on it! super neat-o spider covered in fuzzy white mold. Id like to find a better poetic term for this guy.
7. Probably not the best idea, but great photo-op
8. The RV that was locked and way to over grown to get in
9. Cute retro fridge and stove in one of the RV's
10.
11. utility shed
12. After further investigation, we found mud... no secret room
