I've been a member of this forum for quite a while, but this is my first actual location post. I'll keep it short and simple, but there are quite a few photos. This place was built in 1892 as a boys' school, closed in 1912, reopened in 1915 as an asylum, and closed for good around 1992. The people who own it now are marketing it largely as being haunted and you can take a tour or go on an overnight "ghost hunt" for a fee. I didn't run into any spooks or spectres on my trip but this place is definitely a bit creepy, and with all the additions built over the years it's a veritable 4-story labyrinth. I wish I could find more on the history of the place but there's little info to be found. I'm not a great photographer by any means, but I think I got a few decent shots with my crappy little point and shoot. Enjoy!

It's exciting to see more people actually trying to turn a profit on maintaining abandoned joints instead of turning a profit renovating them.
Looks like a fun time! Neat shots!

Not really a fan of the people who turn a profit on buildings like this and spend it on big houses or cars rather than fixing up the building..

Pretty sweet shots though - this is pretty cool.
