It looks like there is a fairly recent problem with the server that is causing it to crash. I'm going to check the logs today and get back to you all. Sorry for the trouble!

All good. I did lose the homes I had set though. I guess we lost that mooshroom biome. That thing was so far out, I have no idea where to go to find it again. lol

Update!

I have upgraded a handful of plugins, along with removing a few we didn't really need. I've also cut back on the amount of logging being done (to a more sensible level). I'm hoping that should help cut down on problems.

A few other changes: While the server was already saving the world on a regular basis, I've now enabled more thorough backups for the entire server every 5 hours or so. I'm hopeful this will be frequent enough without impacting player performance. To help ensure the server keeps running well, I've also set up an automatic restart every once in a while -- if there isn't anyone currently playing on the server.

I'll be keeping an eye on things, but please do let me know if you encounter any problems. Thanks!

Is anyone else unable to connect?? When I open MC and go to multiplayer, the server just shows up as "Can't connect to server"

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back here and provide an update.

I'll keep this short.

I'm back now, but a while back a severe illness hit my fiancé. We've spent many nights in the hospital over the last weeks, but we're home now and things are looking up. Unfortunately, during that mess I forgot to pay the hosting bill for the server. I'm settled up with them now, but the server was deleted.

I apologize for the confusion. I love playing Minecraft, but I don't know if I have the energy to set up a new server.

Its all good. I have been playing off and on on a great server with more mature people for a while. You all should just join up there and come build with the folks there. I have a few huge builds I have worked on off and on for quite a while with some others. They have a linked teamspeak server too so if you join up there you can talk with everyone as well.

Bought using in game money that is. The server is completely free unless you want to make donations. The owner is great and keeps everything running smooth for like 3+ years now so its a good server.

I'm on vacation until Wednesday evening. I'll likely be back on sometime Thursday or Friday.
