*After accidentally posting this in the great plains forum, now it's home.

This is also my first post, but here's a short video of some of my exploring highlights from 2013.

Most are in Colorado, some are Wyoming.

Much more footage and editing in the works, but let me know what you think!

As much as I like MSMR, that song is forever the Game of Thrones trailer. The lyrics certainly are topical though.

The steadicam idea is interesting, but the video doesn't show much in particular, didn't really seem interesting in any way. If you slowed down a lot it would help, the quick cuts and fast flying contrast with the song and topic.

That's also a good point about the speed, this was definitely filmed and edited with a non-Urban Exploring audience in mind. Most people would likely get bored with too slow of a video. The idea was also supposed to be a trailer of sorts (clearly), but I could never figure out how to build off of that, so I decided I'm just going to edit highlight clips each year.

Interesting video. LOVE the use of the steadycam/flycam. I am trying to save up for one to use with my videos as well and your video just makes me want one all the more.

All around a good video, but, slow down the shots. Too much quick moving of the camera and all that the panning clip did was make me very dizzy. Slow down a little to allow the viewer to see what you are looking at and enjoy the scene.

Liked the editing, good job there. =)

Why save up for one? I built mine out of $20 of plumbing parts, and puts out beautifully stable footage. (Granted, it has a lot to do with operator skill)

What an awesome video man! Kudos!

And i only explore with the strobe setting. The standard setting is for squares. People tend to get a little upset with me, but it's the only way to truly live. -Relik
