I just recently got the net turned back on where I live now.I've been here(25 miles north of the dirty D)for about a year and 1/2..I've spotted quite a few places,I don't have any pics yet though..but that's beside the point..I would like to find other people to go exploring with nearby within the Centerline/Warren/Sterling Heights/Utica areas and maybe to show me around to a few new spots too.

I live in Shelby. The last worthy thing to explore in Macomb county was the Ford/Visteon plant at 23 and Mound but it was torn down last year. I'm always in Detroit, though.

I see,That stinks.but none the less there are a few places I know of in sterling heights around the Riverland utica area

Interesting. That's just 10 minutes down Van Dyke from my house and I can't think of anything that is explorable in that area.

A few old stores,an unfinished apartment building..but that's down in downtown Utica,a bowling alley,a diner,a few other small places.down in warren there are quite a few spots..one being an old apartment complex I once lived at when I was 16.I'm more for the little known locations..the big ones are cool and all but everybody and their brother has explored them so not much that hasnt already been seen

Lol you can ask CDevon, the spots we go in Detroit are not the big well known spots everyone else is going to.

I'm familiar with that stuff in Utica. If the apartments you are talking about are the ones behind the Tacom base, I'd stay away. That is US Army property now. They plow that main road going through so it's safe to assume they care about that property.

I don't know of many places in the suburbs but if you ever come down to the Hamtramck/Detroit area I'm sure we could find plenty to explore...

Thanks man for the heads-up...Are the places in Utica even worth checking out?They seem pretty vacant to me,but I could be wrong..after all it is Utica/riverland district.

That's up to you to decide it they are worth it.

being north of the city u might want to try beating around some of the dirt back roads u might get lucky and find some old houses. i've got a few already that i've spoted but i'm waiting for the weather to warm up a bit and some snow to melt so i can get to them.

if u are into houses!!! i'm only 20 mins east of utica.

It was super warm in Detroit this weekend. I came from Wisconsin, where it was 6 degrees. It was fantastic to be able to wear only a sweatshirt!

yeah but there's so much snow up here it makes it hard to get around....
