Short and simple, yet very powerful. You always have a choice. If you want something, or want to do something...anything...there's nothing that can stop you, except the choice you make. Like my signature; the only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you cant achieve it.

That is kind of tricky. I myself went to my my facebook profile and uploaded my normal sized default. From there, I viewed the picture in my album WITHOUT clicking into it, I dragged the mouse on it and right-clicked it.
When the photo file was saved it was a tiny file on my computer.

Not sure if that helps you, but that's how I did it. You could also message MODERATOR RATICUS. He offered to help me resize it when I was new here. Maybe any moderator on here could assist you, just ask.

Thanks, that worked!

Current profile pic is from a trip to gov't tractors. I was so happy to be there, and I still smile to remember it... Also I think I look like a spider and I love those critters so yeah.

Mine's a... thingie. Yeah, thingie. No idea what it was beyond thingie, but it's a happy thingie at that!
This thingie lived on the roof of a totally gutted, trashed factory near me that, like everything else in Montreal, is on its way to becoming condos.
I bet that thingie smiled right til the end though.

I just recently changed mine to a more UE theme. It's the second time I've used a photo I've taken.

I took this of the GG bridge last year while standing on an elevated part of the HWY 101 approach to the bridge. This section is no longer standing, so I don't know how anyone would be able to replicate this shot now. If you go to google earth, it shows the part of the highway where I was standing being demolished. I like it because it is my home and I love the coastal air and the fog that rolls in every night.

We spent about an hour up on that part of the freeway which was completely abandoned and empty except for a Caterpillar excavator behind us and those little yellow lane divider pegs that "plug" in to the asphalt. They use them on the GG bridge to change around the traffic flow and close or open more lanes.

Radical Ed, the colors on yours look perfect with such awesome detail.

Dude, you have no idea what a monumental pain in the ass it was to get this pic on here.
No matter how I fucked with it or how small I shrunk the fucking thing, it was always too big of a file for the limits set here. I tried everything but my processing program was just too advanced and detailed to "dumb it down" enough for the forum.
I finally had to put the cropped pic in an email and send it to myself. I went over to my parents house because they have an ancient 30 pound laptop with a photo enhancer program from 2000. It was so primitive and archaic, it was a breeze to have it shrunk down and modified to fit the limit requirements. I've since tried to change it to a better, clearer version of the same photo but no dice, so it remains what it is. If you saw the full size with the ancient processing, it looks like a bad watercolor cartoon. The original photo is great, but I had to butcher it to get it on here.

Gotta agree with A-Z about your photo Ed. It's gritty and raw, just like the "character" it captures. I love it! Enough ass kissing already ;)

My avatar is part of a uniform I wore in a more simple time. It reminds me of the good ole days when I was selling bibles door to door...

That's rather unsettling imagery for a Bible salesman.

Unsettling? That's how I see anyone who tries to sell me a bible!

Back on the topic, I think the original picture will better illustrate the bleakness of this dreary city. As I'm very close to some LEO's, I blacked out my face.

I think when I first signed up I attempted putting up a UE related picture and the resizing was a bitch (also didn't know much about picture resizing at the time), and I gave up and went with the stock picture of this guy mowing the lawn.

A guy mowing a lawn.

It stuck and I'll probably keep it for a while if not forever.
