Ghost Towns in the Mojave

After exploring the obligatory tourist trap Calico, I decided to head out and find some honest-to-goodness ghost towns. What I found were several enclaves of sparsely populated former rail-road towns. Most of the buildings were abandoned and the ones that were occupied were often as ramshackle as the neglected ones. Hope you enjoy and I'm always open to comments/critiques. I'm not new to exploring, but I am new to photographing.

Ooooo! Spooky! Now THIS is intense in the best way possible. You have a great sense of establishing shots and angles, I don't know if you play around with lighting or photoshop at all but it's a great tool to bring out colours and make the image sharper and more dramatic.

Keep up the awesome work!

I love Mojave. One of my friends takes his car to race tracks all over California, and sometimes I tag along. Spent a few nights in the Mojave during the times that he raced down there. I go half for the motorsports, half for the exploration the day before/after!

Guybrush, I'd be interested in some fine leather jackets, if you're so inclined...

As for the site: wow! Quite the collection! Excellent photography, and an awesome site.

You seem to be thriving in the Vegas / Mojave / Southwest area! You sure hit the ground running.
