Mine is actually a joke with my friends. So those parties that women go to for sex toys? Well there is an icebreaker game, to help everyone get to know each other.

Name of your first pet + the street you grew up on = your stripper name..
Jenny + Holgate = Jenny Holgate. If you've ever been to Portland, or live in the area, you would understand why me and my friends thought Jenny Holgate was so hilarious. It's so perfectly Portland - a plain first name, with the name of a Portland main street as a last name. I might as well be a stripper.

Jenny Holgate is my default internet name where I choose to remain anonymous. On here, I just use Jenny and then UE for, HM, obvious reasons.

I did a similar one where you used a formula to find your drag queen name. So y'all can call me Doobie Riverside : )

...My folks were hippie rednecks BTW. I'm still not sure you can mix the two.

I took the first letters of the first names (J, Q, and S) of the guys I explore with, myself included, and created a pseudonym using those initials as first, middle and last. Dunno why I choose to make them alphabetized but I'm too lazy to change the order now so Jac Steel it is. The middle name is technically Quincy but the flow is too choppy in my mind to include it (this doesn't mean that member of our group is any less significant. They're probably the riskiest member of our group as a matter of fact).

There's the crazy one, the photographer, and me, the driver, a mix of both. And we're a pretty kickass team if I do say so myself.

Great idea for a thread!

I took my name from the famous connola oil brand because I'm always drinking it & rubbing it into my skin.

This is actually my secondary handle. My primary I've been moving away from since more than a decade of use and youthful indiscretions have left it pretty heavily tied to my real identity. So, I had to come up with a new handle for various reasons. After a week of brainstorming and pinging around to find unused, non-numerical names, I came up with this.

Even my last name was pretty much "Huh, I need a name. What sounds cool?"

A mistake. While out exploring i found a record player by a british record company named Collaro, so i figured "screw it" because it seemed cool at the time. I'd change it to Helios now though, after one of my lenses but eeeeh. Effort and all |v

High school. I really wanted a fast Soob back then.

Nine years later, I own a Legacy wagon after selling my first two cars: a pair of late '80s 3-series BMWs. The Legacy is slightly more practical on shitty mountain roads as well being as a much better swimmer.

I've changed my name by now most places online, but here, I've been told that it's rather difficult for an established member such as myself. So Imprez it is.

Cliff note version.
I got into a huge online argument and ended up stalked in RL. So, I started over online and needed a new name. I was working on my computer and plugged in the soundcard. (soundblaster ct1600) ct1600 became my name and here for some reason I shortened it.

Lame, I know...

I needed a username and couldn't think of anything, so I looked up a random username generator. I can't remember the exact result I got now, but as I looked through lists of possible words to put together, I thought Storytrail sounded pretty decent. Little did I know it would become such a huge part of my exploring / online identity.

I've seen a lot of people use random generators to get their usernames. I never would have expected this to be one. I guess it was meant to be.

I guess so!! I mean I kind of used the generator but didn't like the result and hand picked my username from their descriptive words.. So I suppose they should really only get partial credit.

It was just after binge watching some generation one transformers that I joined another site and was queried to choose a username. First one that came to mind after revisiting my childhood was Bumblebee, the iconic yellow Volkswagen beetle. Since then it has just kind of stuck. In hindsight I wish I had chosen Optimus_Grime.....that would have been a pretty cool one....damn.

Anomaly used to be my gamer tag. But that username was taken, so I decided to add Indo. Not for smoking weed, but because I used to live overseas in Indonesia for about six years. It was a life altering experience. I wish I had just made my name Anomalicious, like it is on all other social media.
