Heading up to sydney on the 10th of december for a week, wondering if anyone knew of any places that i could stop in and check out on the way, coordinates along with even a small detail about the place would be great!

Along with that, if anyone is in sydney from the 10th to 18th and are up to either going off-roading, or urbexing, shoot me a uer inbox, i can give you my cell# so we can get together easier.

-- i already know about the debert properties (having worked there, as some of you know)
-- planning on checking out the old jail in truro on the way, if anyone knows anything about that place, sharing would be great,
-- does anyone know about the hotel by the tidal bore viewpoint?
-- how about sydport? i've heard something about an abandoned town there that was used for a movie set,
-- there's a number of military complexes around/outside of sydney, does anyone know anything about them?

Thanks!

I think Broughton is the ghost town just outside of Sydney - I haven't been there, though.

There's a gorgeous church (well watched, but stunning!) In victoria Mines that's been empty forever. Saint Alphonsis, if I remember.

I would love to find some spots between Moncton and Amherst too. Hard to find stuff unless you know people.

How did this trip go? I always assumed there was lots to see in CB. Now that I have a better car, thinking about making the trip soon.

honestly not too well. i never got a chance to check anything out, my truck was out of commission 95% of the time i was down there so i was rather stranded. truro jail i checked out though and it was a no-go. locked up.

i'm heading back down next week from the 17th to 24th if anyone wanted to meet up and explore.
